Our 80 extraction is slightly refined and has a 20% loss of bran. It’s a bit more versatile than our whole wheat 95 in the bread and dough realms and is a whiter flour.

This versatile variety of wheat originally migrated to the U.S. from Ukraine and has been a parent breed to many other varieties available today. This heirloom hard red winter Turkey Red Wheat was grown right here on our certified organic and regenerative farm and milled at Deep Roots Milling at Woodson’s Mill in Virginia with their 250-year-old water-powered stone mill.

Use to make pizza dough, bread, pancakes, waffles and baked goods.
